Yesterday I went to Hollywood with my boyfriend, Alex and my good friend Tommy Tadeo. I've never really been up there other than to wait in line all day for a show at the Avalon, so it was pretty exciting because I got to see things I haven't seen before that isn't far from where I live.

Main reason we went to Hollywood though: To check out High Voltage Tattoo and to see Kat Von D.
Once we stepped in we noticed that Jeffree Star was there, sitting at the main desk on his phone. It was pretty neat. It was a lot bigger than it had seemed on the show. Bright pink with black gold and red accents. I couldn't help but to take some pictures, and Jeffree is in a couple of them. It was his day off, so he wasn't in makeup or anything. I didn't want to ask him to take a picture with me because of that, so I had him sign my pink Sidekick cover instead.

As soon as we walked in there were 3 assistants asking us you know hey is there anything you need? Blah blah. And we asked if Kat was there. They said it was her day off! And that she wasn't there. So we kind of got sad and were moping around. Later on Tommy walked up to one of the assistants and got it out of her that she was there in the back after we saw Jeffree stop at a back door as he was leaving to say bye to someone. So we were going to stop back at midnight to see if she'd come out of the room and walk around Hollywood Blvd until then.

We went to the Chinese theater. Saw a couple of creepy people. Homeless people dressed up as cartoon characters to entertain kids for money, and the feet and hand prints of famous people. Something I've never seen before. I loved it. I want to live in Hollywood one day.

After that we went back to High Voltage and just sat and waited. After a couple hours Kat's hairless kitty Ludwig came out and started to play. I've never felt a hairless cat before. He felt kind of like a pig. It was awesome. I even want a hairless cat. No hair, No fleas, No Allergies! Haha. Then the store closed and Kat never came out.

I'm thinking about going back tonight. I possibly will. And I'll post my pictures of the shop in a bit. <3

Projekt Revolution was the best ever.

We got to the front row for MSI. Ended up getting pictures with Jimmy Urine and he signed my ticket and I got a signature for Alex. He is sooo fucking good live. Oh My!!

Then we went into the Pit for the main stage and it was good. Wasn't crowded at all. During the set of HIM there was this drunk beezy who was just quiet and standing there right next to Regina and she all of a sudden falls straight backwards, kicks regina, smacks her head on the cement, and starts puking and choking on it. It wreaked so we went to the other side. Haha.

Then we got up close when Taking Back Sunday started to play. They were Really good. I need to know more of their songs, I only knew Cute without the 'e' haha.

Thennn it was My Chemical Romance!! I pushed my way up to 2nd row. Right behind the people hugging the gate. Kept my eye on Gerard, tried to take pics with my sidekick. They were really really really good live. Better than they were before at Soma a couple of years ago. Their set was amazingly awesome. Fire, fireworks, sparks, spinning drumset, everything. I loved it, and it keeps playing over and over in my head.

And I saw Tommy twice during the day. Got a free Monster. Could have gotten free condoms.

Best night I've had in a while.

Just picked up my Projekt Revolution tickets. I know last day but I bought Pitt tickets off someone at Craigslist. I think I overpaid, and the girl wasn't able to get me change. Meaning I have no money to buy merch. =[

But I'm excited. I can't wait to see MSI and MCR. That's all I'm really there for. All of the other bands that I know of are standable, so it's going to be a good day. Especially since I don't have to work. Haha.

Anyways I'll put up a journal about the show probably on Wednesday. If you're going tomorrow maybe I'll see you there!!

So it's been a while since I've posted a journal. Not too much has been up with me. I've been working constantly while trying to fit in time to paint my room at my dads house and take care of my kitties and still try and make room to hang out with my friends.

I'm ready to move out of Alex's moms house. She's driving me completely insane. She's the type of person who can't ever be wrong, and she's childish and lazy and whiney. When I first moved in here she wasn't like this, then a couple of months after her mom moved in, and then she met a guy who she's head over heels for. So the grandma is ten times worse than alex's mom. She has an accident when she was younger which makes her have real bad short term memory. She also has a huge attitude and is very rude and annoying. I'm just about done living with them. Thankfully my dad is knocking out the wall between my old bedroom and the room next to it, and letting Alex and I live there rent free. Problem is, Alex's mom doesn't know yet.

So I'm trying to figure out a way to tell her. I was going to tell her before I leave for Vegas tomorrow night, but I'm afraid while we're gone she'll damage our stuff and throw it out or something, but I almost snapped today and told her when she was demanding what I do with my kittens and how to ventilate the room.

What do I say? How do I make this easy? Last time before valentines day we told her we were thinking of moving she freaked out and kept saying to us "how could you do this to me". She doesn't realize she needs to let us go and that we need to live our own lives and not to be controlled by her.

Yesterday my plans fell through. Chris called me saying that Liz told him that she's celebrating fathers day this weekend instead of last. So whatever. We're going to organize it for another time hopefully.

Alex says he wants to take me to the beach today. I'm kind of excited if we really are going to go. Then we might go see a movie tonight with the change we collected. We'll see Knocked up. Haha.

So tomorrow is the first break from work I get from when school ended a week ago. I'm excited because I get to sleep in and relax, and not have to worry about going to work and being stressed. I guess tomorrow I'm going to the beach. I honestly have not been to the beach to swim for around 2/3 years. I'm excited. I actually hate the beach, but for some reason these past couple of months I've been craving to go there. I can try to get a tan too. I'm going with my friends from my old school. I miss them so much, and I love them all. <3

Anyways, I also cut my hair. It's a little bit above the shoulders, but I love it. Great length for summer.

Best day of my life, well at least, just as good or even better than the My Chemical Romance Video Shoot.

I met a lot more people, way friendly and interesting. At the MCR video shoot, everyone thought they were better than eachother. Lame shit.

So yesterday Alex recieved a call at midnight saying we're going to be in My Chemical Romance's new music video. After that my heart was pounding and I couldn't sleep. I finally got to sleep after about 3:45-4:00 am. It was a hard sleep, I kept tossing and turning, then at 9:00am I woke up. I started to get ready, showering and stuff, waited for Alex to wake up, and he got ready, then we were off to Hollywood around 12:30pm.

We made a quick stop at my house in Oceanside because my parents are gone, and needed us to take care of the animals. We kind of played with the animals for a bit longer than we had planned. My mom had just gotten a new kitten who's black and fluffy without a tail. He seriously is the size of my kitties head. And then after that we officially left and got to Hollywood around 3:45ish and we stopped at a Tommy Burger because Alex had to pee really bad, and in order to use the bathroom I had to buy something, so I bought a package of Famous Amos cookies.

After Tommy's, we went to find parking, couldn't park in the places you had to pay the guy because I had no cash, so we found a meter spot. I seriously hate driving in LA though, because it's all yeilding and I had to make about 2 U-Turns where we almost died. So in Hollywood we walked over to Cahuenga Blvd, and went into True Tattoo- where Kat Von D is currently working because she's back home from Miami Ink. Right when we walk in we see her husband Oliver talking to a client about a tattoo. He doesn't look at us or anything, and he walks in the back. From 4:00 until 6:00 we waited in that shop to see Kat. Her assistant said we can definately meet her, we just had to wait until she finished up the appointment. So we waited and waited, and her next appointment came in, so we talked to him. He is a good friend of Kat's from Vegas. He's helping her set up her own shop. His tattoo that was done by her of his son from before was in a magazine, which  he showed us. He told us that getting a tattoo by Kat is the best, shes down to earth, light handed, everything. But, the problem, especially for me is, she likes to do portraits only because she wants to practice in that field the most and perfect it, and it's really expensive. So that being said, we never got to see her, she was in her room tattooing away. We saw her door, we heard her voice, and saw her husband. It was cool enough, and we're definately going back.

At about 6:03pm we headed towards the music video shoot. It was out, in what it seemed to be, the middle of nowhere. About 29 minutes away from Hollywood, going on about 6 or 7 different freeways. We finally got there at about 6:35pm. When we got there, we parked in front of the high school. It was all gated so we had to walk around, and run to the cafeteria because we didn't want to be late. There was a lot of people there, more that I had expected. We waited in a line with release forms, and we filled them out. This guy took a picture of us with a polaroid, and when someone asked him what to do next, he just said "Hang out, do whatever, smoke pot, get high, just don't walk over that way" So we sat in a corner of the cafeteria. At around 7:30, these two people came in. One was a famous choreographer who was older,Mickey Rooney, I'm sure you've seen him in "making the video" but yeah, it was him, and then this other girl, Tracey Philips. It just so happened to be she was Helena. She looked a lot different in person, because she didn't have that much makeup. She was pretty. They taught us all dance moves. Just a four count step but it was interesting. After that we waited some more. It bothered me how there was a lot of underage people, when they specifically said for the extras coming in had to be 18 or over. The underagers I guess was allowed to be there because they had 3 groups- Actors, Fans, and Students. The minors were all part of the students, and they were set to go home at a specific time. I was just happy I was the only one there with Bright Pink hair, so I stand out-ish? I hope.

In the cafeteria, they went and called out to check ID's and to stamp us. The guy looked at mine and saw 89, and he let me go, then he had a second thought about it and called me back thinking I wasn't 18. I showed him the part where it said January, and he said "aw you're so lucky". and I went and got a stamp. We waited for about another hour or so. While we were waiting we walked around outside, and the Making the Video crew came by and filmed a banner, and then they started to walk behind us, filming us on the way back to the cafeteria, which was awkward. About 30 minutes after that a guy walked us out in groups and let us go to the gymnasium. Right outside the door to the gymnasium they held us up in two lines. One line for the purple stamps and one for the green. We were purple because we were fans and students, and the green were actors, so they got to go in first. Once we walked in, there was 2 sections of chairs. Each section had 10 rows of 10 seats, and alex and I were in the very back of the last row on the right, or the left if you were on stage looking at us. In front there was a huge stage with red banners behind it, in the middle saying Teenagers. On the stage there was marshall double full stacks on each side, a mic in the middle, and drums behind the mic. We were there. This was the real thing.

On the right of us, there was Bob, and Adam from the old Taking Back Sunday, and a security guard playing basketball. behind us was Ray talking to their laywer who seemed like she was a funny older lady. They hit the basketball right over us, and the security guard caught it, but i was scared it would hit us so I held my hands out, and i felt stupid so I just touched the ball when he was holding it, and he's like "oh well do you want to play basketball" I shot up in a second and said "yes" so I went to shoot, I got close but I kept missing. (I was nervous =3), and then after the third time adam said "If you make it, Bob will give you 100 dollars" Bob shook his head. So I took the ball, shot it, and missed. I sat back down. I looked around for the other band members, and Mikey was sitting on the bleachers next to his girlfriend, and Frankie was up top with his guitar. Then I looked for Gerard. He was behind me talking to the laywer and he looked around. I just kept staring at him and he made eye contact with me. After that a crew lady came by and moved Alex and I to the other section, and sat us fourth row from the front, and in the fourth and fifth seat in. About 10 minutes after that, they had us practicing the moves to the song, and added arm pumping to follow after what we already had learned. Then the band got up on stage. The music started playing along, and Gerard was singing along to the music. Everyone had to pretend. It was entertaining because sometimes Gerard wasn't ready, and he'd jump in from an awkward position to start singing along. Then the second chorus in we got up, did our moves, and from then on I couldn't see the stage because I was too short. We kept having to do re-takes so it was fine. It got boring after a while. Then once that scene was over, Gerard was talking to the directors friend, and pointed in our direction. Alex was saying he for sure was looking at him and said "that kid blah blah blah" and then Gerard and the directors friend and a couple of buddies came over and grabbed Alex and Alex shook Gerards hands and they all went outside. I was really confused, everyone in our section kept looking back wondering what was going on, because they saw it happen. Alex came back and he looked like he saw a ghost. He was excited. He told me that he gets to tackle Gerard in a later scene and that they got along well. Gerard said " You seem like the kind of guy I'd ditch school with, listen to Maiden and smoke weed" Alex kept saying how cool he was and everything. I was extremely jealous, but super happy for Alex.

They did a few more shots of the extras without the band at the parts where we do our moves. They had reshoots of differen't angles and lenses and everything. Then came the next scene where the curtain falls. That was awesome. They also had cheerleaders with gas masks which was fun to watch. We didn't have to do anything during that part, just watch. Then the next scene they did was where the extras took over the stage and took the instruments, and this is where Alex tackles Gerard. There was a change of plans, and Alex had to tackle one side of Gerard, and Adam the other, then Tommy (who lives in Vista, but they take him on tour with them when they're in California because he was always there when they played shows and stuff) who would jump on Gerard afterwards because he has bad knees. Everyone kept messing up that scene. The director picked specific people, ones who took guitars, ones who took the mic, and then the ones who tackle gerard. Everyone kept jumping on the stage anyways. One time Alex made me go up there with him. I did, but I wasn't on film or anything. I felt awkward, I didn't know what to do. Frankie tried to sneak out, he had this look on his face that was priceless, like he just did something really bad and thought it was hillarious. I got off and so I just stuck to staying on the floor for the other scenes, and I stood off to the side with Alex to wait for him to jump on stage. While I was waiting there, between the reshoots Gerard walked by. Alex introduced me to him. He said "Gerard this is my girlfriend Alana" Gerard said "Yeeeeauh, nice to meet you Alana" and shook my hand, then patted my back. I was sooooo happy. Then the director made everyone go outside and everyone else that was on the stage stay. I just sat in the bleachers, and then Tracey/Helena came up next to me and sat down. I asked her what was going on, and she said they were just re-shooting it. I went out to get my purse from the cafeteria and my purse was opened. Someone tried to steal stuff from me, but I hid my Ipod in my makeup bag in the hidden zipper compartment, and I wrapped my camera in my jacket. I took everything else with me. Whoever looked through my back looked in my makeup bag, but didn't take anything. So I was glad nothing was missing, just upset my bag was searched.

I started to walk back to the Gym to meet up with Alex, and one of the crew guys stopped me, told me to go back. I told him my boyfriend was in the gym, he said "well can't you call him?" I told him he had my phone (which is true) so he let me go back. When I was back there, I got my cd out, and my pen, and called Gerard over to sign it. He did, he wasn't sure how to spell my name. He spelled it correctly by guessing, and signed it. I told him thanks, he said your welcome, then I said You're amazing, and he sounded happy and was like "thanks!". Then I passed by Frankie, and asked him to sign my cd as well. He did. I couldn't find any of the other band members, so I didn't get it signed by everyone, and they finished the shoot and made us go outside. Outside was a table full of in and out burgers. About 30 or 40 boxes, and then in the boxes were about 4 burgers. They said it was only for crew members. This was around 2:30am. Alex and I were starved, all we ate were those cookies from Tommy burger at around 4. They moved us to the hallway, where there was a huge light, which made it seem like daytime I guess, and then they gave us in and out. Alex and I were in the very front of the hallway scene. I've never been inside a school where there was lockers and the nurses office and everything. We had to run super fast, and pass the camera without any happy cheering, expression, and we couldn't look at the camera. We had to do that scene about 7 times. We all got tired after about the 3rd time. Everyone there was pretty much a smoker, and some girls were in heels, and as for me, I just can't run. So once that scene was over, we had to do it again, but by bursting through the doors and breaking a chain. They had 4 guys set up in the front to break the chain, and Alex and I were right after them. We ran through, both times Alex got hurt by the door, but he kept going (what a trooper) and then we came back to 1. When we were there, the director told the lady that he only wants like 15 kids. So he cut off everybody that was behind us and told them to go home or wait in the cafeteria if they were actors. We had to do like 3 more shots of us just opening the door and walking 3 steps. It was fun. Then they finally said "That's a wrap!" The three words I thought I would never hear.

We headed off to go home at about 3:30 in the morning. We stopped at 7-11 and got snacks. I got an energy drink, and lots of candy to keep me awake for the drive. I had to use the restroom. I have a public Restroom phobia, and this was the worst one I've ever been in. Then the guy up front was talking to Alex about how he made an online video game where Arnold Schwarzenegger did the voice for one of the characters or something. Then we started to drive home. Stopped at a gas station, where it was all out of order because the gas truck was there, and so I had to go across the street to the more expensive gas station. The pump kept stopping me and clicking, and wouldn't go in my tank. It was the most annoying gas pump I've ever been to. Maybe I was frustrated because I was super tired. We made it home at 5:00am, and then we crashed.
