My voyage to High Voltage Tattoo- aka- LA Ink

Yesterday I went to Hollywood with my boyfriend, Alex and my good friend Tommy Tadeo. I've never really been up there other than to wait in line all day for a show at the Avalon, so it was pretty exciting because I got to see things I haven't seen before that isn't far from where I live.

Main reason we went to Hollywood though: To check out High Voltage Tattoo and to see Kat Von D.
Once we stepped in we noticed that Jeffree Star was there, sitting at the main desk on his phone. It was pretty neat. It was a lot bigger than it had seemed on the show. Bright pink with black gold and red accents. I couldn't help but to take some pictures, and Jeffree is in a couple of them. It was his day off, so he wasn't in makeup or anything. I didn't want to ask him to take a picture with me because of that, so I had him sign my pink Sidekick cover instead.

As soon as we walked in there were 3 assistants asking us you know hey is there anything you need? Blah blah. And we asked if Kat was there. They said it was her day off! And that she wasn't there. So we kind of got sad and were moping around. Later on Tommy walked up to one of the assistants and got it out of her that she was there in the back after we saw Jeffree stop at a back door as he was leaving to say bye to someone. So we were going to stop back at midnight to see if she'd come out of the room and walk around Hollywood Blvd until then.

We went to the Chinese theater. Saw a couple of creepy people. Homeless people dressed up as cartoon characters to entertain kids for money, and the feet and hand prints of famous people. Something I've never seen before. I loved it. I want to live in Hollywood one day.

After that we went back to High Voltage and just sat and waited. After a couple hours Kat's hairless kitty Ludwig came out and started to play. I've never felt a hairless cat before. He felt kind of like a pig. It was awesome. I even want a hairless cat. No hair, No fleas, No Allergies! Haha. Then the store closed and Kat never came out.

I'm thinking about going back tonight. I possibly will. And I'll post my pictures of the shop in a bit. <3

	kissmedeadly000: 08/13/2007 12:03 PM well, he was unshaved, and he wore sunglasses. He looked.. different. Haha. And he wore blue short shorts that said Get Low. Hahaha.

I waited at the shop again and I bought flowers for Pixie because she had surgery, and then for Kat and the shop for their hospitality. I waited until they closed and eventually Kat came from getting food or something with jeffree star again and a couple other people. She saw me with the flowers and smiled but then went in the back. Her assistant came up after talking with her and he apologized and said she's too busy doing work and business stuff and she has guests over and to try again another night. =[ But it was AWESOME seeing her in person. She's gorgeous!!

Sucks that she was too busy again for you to meet her, but it's very cool that she acknowledge you and you got to see her in person. Since you were told to try again, do you plan on going back another night?
	kissmedeadly000: 08/15/2007 10:37 AM Not for a very long time. Haha. Yeah Kat posted a bulletin on Myspace earlier this week saying Pixie had surgery on Friday because her tonsils were infected and needed to be taken out. So she isnt supposed to be in until today- wednesday. I'll try again in a couple of months.

	kissmedeadly000: 08/15/2007 1:35 PM Yah shes taking the month of september off then shes filming again october. You have to set an appointment with her to be on the show. The shop is closed during the hours they film. I wish i could though. Haha
